Where to Donate your Used Furniture in Toronto
Spring is just around the corner and we all know what that means. Some sun, warmer days and spring cleaning! There may be a lot of things lying around that we no longer need, including furniture. If you can donate your used furniture, there is an option to take it to someone who needs it. Plus, you don’t really want to throw away a perfectly functioning work table or couch, do you?
Fortunately, there are a few places in Toronto that you can donate your used furniture.
Habitat for humanity
This is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing safe and affordable housing. You can drop off your furniture at any of their Habitat Restore locations around town. They have rooms in the Studio District, East York, Etobicoke, and North York.
They are a registered charity that collects used furniture and housewares. They can request a pickup by filling out an online form, or you can even drop things off at their Etobicoke warehouse.
In addition to clothing, Value Village also accepts furniture. They have multiple stores and locations across town that you can donate to directly.
Do you have a lot of furniture and clutter lying around that needs to be gone? Just Junk specializes in removing furniture. They then donate the items to local charities or have them recycled if necessary. Your pricing will depend on the amount of furniture that needs to be removed.
They accept donations for a range of used items, including furniture. You can drop off small pieces of furniture at a Donor Welcome Center or drop bin at the nearest location.
