ADIDAS DEBUTES PRIDE COLLECTION in 2021
Adidas released a 2021 Pride collection along with a global campaign that puts influential members and allies of the LGBTQ + community in the spotlight.
With pieces spanning style and performance clothing, the collection has a “Do It Yourself” visual aesthetic stemming from LGBTQ + communities who have tried to create their own spaces for self-expression.
This “DIY” aesthetic inspired the flowing geometries as well as the expressive and layered graphics of the entire collection, the special Pride color variants of classic Adidas silhouettes such as Nice, Forum, UltraBoost 5.0 DNA and AdiZero Pro V1 as well as a colorful range of bucket hats, overalls, Sports bras, shorts and leotards.

CHATGENIE PARTNERS WITH GCASH
ChatGenie.PH, an end-to-end online shop platform in Facebook Messenger, is now available to GLife merchants through a partnership with GCash.
Merchants within GLife can now use ChatGenie so they can collect online orders and pay using GCash.
GLife is an app feature that includes mini-programs from multiple brands in a customer’s GCash dashboard, allowing them to complete transactions and payments within the platform.

CONVERSE PH OPENS NEW CONCEPT STORE
Converse Philippines recently opened a new concept store in the Power Plant Mall in Makati City.
Visitors can look forward to the brand’s best deals in footwear, apparel, accessories and genders, including Chuck iterations like the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star, Chuck 70s, Runstar Hike, CX and special energy collections.
Hundreds of products are now also available online through the Converse flagship store on Lazada.
GRABPAY IS MAYANIS PARTNER FOR NATIONAL FOOD FAIR
GrabPay has been named the exclusive payment partner of the Mayani farm-to-table e-commerce platform for the Hybrid National Food Fair.
Consumers can use GrabPay to purchase a wide range of Mayani products, such as fresh fruits and vegetables; frozen fish and meat; Coffee beans; and local gourmet goods.
The National Food Fair runs online June through September, with a physical event scheduled for the final month.
Mayani’s June Run takes place June 9-16.
HADA LABO LAUNCHES PREMIUM WHITENING RANGE IN PH
Japanese brand Hada Labo recently launched its whitening range in the Philippines, which contains three types of hyaluronic acid, arbutin, vitamins C and E, and phosphate.
There is also tranexamic acid, which Hada Labo said was used to treat skin discoloration problems such as melasma, hyperpigmentation, acne scars, and redness.
Customers can start with the Arbutin Whitening Face Wash, followed by the Premium Whitening Lotion and finish with the Premium Whitening Cream.
The Premium Whitening Trial Set, which contains all three products in the line, is also available.
Hada Labo products are available from Watsons retail stores nationwide and online shopping sites such as Watsons.com.ph, Lazada and Shopee.
H&M LAUNCHES “BEYOND THE RAINBOW” CAMPAIGN
H&M recently launched its Beyond the Rainbow to support the LGBTQIA + community and Pride.
Customers and fans can access the campaign’s stories by scanning each rainbow flag, adding Instagram filters and sharing their own Pride stories on social media, via the brand’s web app or H & M’s Beyond the Rainbow website.
LENOVO HAS NEW IDEAPAD NOTEBOOKS
Lenovo recently launched its latest IdeaPad notebooks.
The new IdeaPad Slim 3i and IdeaPad Slim 5i Pro are housed in a compact frame and powered by the latest processors and better memory and storage configurations.

Robinsons Malls is bringing back “Bottle to Plants”, an exchange program where buyers can bring their clean and dry plastic bottles (at least 3 1.5 liter and 1 5 liter) in exchange for organic compost or clay.
Buyers can also bring home free seeds and seedlings in collaboration with the Bureau of Plant Industry.

SM SUPERMALLS BRINGS FARMERS ‘PRODUCTS BACK
Farmers’ Produce, the organic market caravan from SM Supermalls, is back at The Podium and SM Aura Premier this month of June and July to bring mall visitors fresh produce and a farm-to-table experience.
Farmers’ Produce is a joint project between SM Supermalls, the Department of Agriculture and Resto PH, a restaurant association in the Philippines, and offers fresh and affordable fruit, vegetables and various foods such as rice and honey from local farmers as take-away from OK Café, Gourmet Café, Moloko Handcrafted Cookies, Vikings, Pizza Express, Scouts Honor and Oh My Greek, to name a few.
Farmers’ Produce will be available on the Podium on June 10-12, July 1-3, and July 8-10.
The caravan will also travel to SM Aura Premier from June 18-20, June 25-27, July 16-18 and July 23-25.

‘CHANGE AND SAVE’ FROM GLOBE
Globe At Home rewards its customers who swap their existing devices for new WiFi units with the “Swap and Save” campaign, which coincides with World Environment Day and Philippine Environment Month.
Customers will receive a P500 discount for Globe MyFi LTE-Advanced and Home Prepaid WiFi LTE-Advanced devices if they use their existing Prepaid Globe MyFi, WiFi Stick or Home Prepaid WiFi in one of the 48 participating Globe Stores up to or before August 21 give this year.
Globe Stores teams help customers fill out an online monitoring form before dropping off devices in the in-store electrical bins. The collected electronic waste is then delivered monthly to its DENR-accredited recycling partner TES-AMM Philippines in Pasig and Maritrans Recycler, Inc. in Cebu for proper electronic waste processing.
Non-working and obsolete modems and other electronic or battery-operated devices such as cell phones, chargers, laptops, desktops and other household appliances are considered electronic waste. According to the Global E-Waste Monitor 2020 report, these must be properly disposed of as they contain toxic and hazardous substances that contaminate the soil and groundwater.

UNILEVER, SHOPEE PARTNER FOR THE “LINIS PILIPINAS” CAMPAIGN
Unilever, the maker of brands like Breeze, Domex and Surf, has teamed up with Shopee and the Haribon Foundation for the “Linis Pilipinas” campaign.
During Super Brand Day on Shopee, June 10-12, shoppers can receive coupons with up to 15% off and free shipping for their favorite Unilever products. Surf, Breeze and Domex bottles are now made from 100% recycled plastic.
A portion of the proceeds from the Super Brand Day Sale will go to the Haribon Foundation, which is promoting Unilever’s starting point for planting 1,250 trees.

UNIQLO REOPENES EVIA STORE
Japanese clothing retailer Uniqlo is ready to welcome its southern customers back with the reopening of its store at the Evia Lifestyle Center on June 18th.
The new and improved store will increase its retail space from 600 square meters to 1,878 square meters. It is located on the ground floor of the Evia Lifestyle Center, along Daang Hari Road in Las Pinas, Metro Manila.
