Police said when they arrived Tinney refused to open the door and denied there was any disturbance. Officers saw several household items from the hotel scattered just below the window of Tinney’s room. A vehicle parked on the property was damaged by a number of items, including a desk, chair, television and bedside table, according to a police report.

Officers were finally able to enter the room after receiving a key from management that wanted Tinney removed from the premises.

According to the report, it was found that the room was destroyed, several items were missing and towels were crammed in the toilet.

Officials arrested Tinney on charges of vandalism, criminal harm, obstruction of official business, resisting arrest and causing panic. He is being held in Mahoning County Prison.
