Knox County man arrested, accused of stealing furniture

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) – The Knox County Sheriff’s office responded to a break in a house on KY 229 near the Laurel County line.

Police noticed a truck that was attached to a utility vehicle trailer in the driveway.

Police say furniture has been removed from the house and placed in the truck and trailer. The police found a man in the truck. After an investigation into the scene, 53-year-old John David Hudson was arrested for theft for illegally taking or providing over $ 500.

Another man was in the house running when the MPs got to the scene.

John Hudson was charged and taken to the Knox County Detention Center.

The investigation is still ongoing. Another arrest is expected.
