Dana Forester’s promotion comes amid explosive growth in the franchise system
BERWYN, PA .– (BUSINESS WIRE) – After months of record growth for JDog Brands, the veteran and military-owned franchise system is proud to announce the promotion of Dana Forester to President and COO of JDog Carpet Cleaning. Forester – an Air Force veteran – served as the vice president of operations for the past two years, helping veterans and family members realize their dreams of business ownership.
As President and COO, Forester will be responsible for identifying and recruiting potential JDog Carpet Cleaning franchise candidates who pursue careers with a patriotic purpose and helping current franchisees expand into new territories. She will continue to strategically train, support and advise franchisees. Forester will lead JDog Carpet Cleaning’s efforts to double its footprint in 2021: a challenge she is well prepared for as she and her team doubled franchise sales in 2020.
“Dana has worked tirelessly to bring more veterans and family members into the business. As she drove others to success, her own military training allowed her to grow in our ranks, ”said Army veteran Jerry Flanagan, co-founder and CEO of JDog Brands. “Dana’s work ethic and problem-solving skills earn her the respect and trust of the franchisees she serves. But beyond that, Dana leads from the front and has proven that she can be hectic. We know Dana will continue to help us create business opportunities for veterans and their families and live by our values of respect, integrity, and trust. ”
Prior to launching JDog Carpet Cleaning in 2019, Forester was Director of Operations and Ramp Up Coach for JDog Junk Removal & Hauling, the first service offering in the JDog Brands portfolio. Before joining JDog in 2016, she worked as an ambulance dispatcher.
JDog Brands is committed to hiring veterans and family members, including its own executive team. Förster fulfills both criteria. She served in the Air Force for four years and belongs to a very small community of women who worked as ammunition systems specialists – a predominantly male field. She comes from a strong military heritage including her uncle Ken Baldwin, who was originally a member of the Band of Brothers.
“Through my Air Force training, I learned how to effectively manage people, projects and assets, and how to work with my team for the common good,” said Forester. “I rely on that experience every day at JDog, but it’s more than a job to me. It has become my life’s work and passion, and I take pride in continuing to create jobs for veterans and their families. ”
JDog Brands is committed to its people, cause and patriotism, and promoting Forester is another way the company goes about its actions. For more information on JDog Brands and JDog Carpet Cleaning, please visit www.jdog.com.
