Hauled Off Junk Removal offers to pick up Christmas trees for mulching

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Trash removal removes real, non-artificial Christmas trees for Clarksville residents free of charge.

The trees will be dropped off at the city’s collection point in Heritage Park, where, according to owner Justin Spivey, they will be felled and distributed to local playgrounds.

“We’ve been around for over six years and wanted to give something back to the community,” he said.

To have your tree picked up, call 931-217-1711 by 4pm on January 3rd. The trees will be picked up on January 5th and 7th.

All decorations on the tree must be removed, and the tree must be placed on the curb of the residence.

“With everything to do with the holidays, Clarksville has less to worry about,” said Spivey.

Tree donation

Until January 10, residents of Clarksville can hand in undecorated, unwrapped, freshly cut Christmas trees to Heritage Park during park hours from morning to evening.

Trees may be left in the designated taped area of the Heritage Park football lot.

The trees are mulched and used by Clarksville Parks & Recreation in local parks and trails.
