GIHAUL® Junk Removal Veteran Franchise Opportunity
GIHAUL® has set itself the task of giving veterans a chance
We want other veterans who are just like us to have the opportunity to wait for them when they get home. That’s why we started franchising and that’s our only mission. “
– David McCloskey
PITTSBURGH, PA, U.S., February 10, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ – GIHAUL® Junk and Waste Removal, a Pittsburgh-based, veteran-owned and operated company, has signed its sixth franchise. Tampa, FL, will be added to existing franchises in Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Austin and Fort Worth.
GIHAUL® was founded nine years ago by brothers Mike and David McCloskey after they both returned from Iraq. David served in the Marines for six years and Mike served in the Army for six years. While both serving in a different branch of the military, they both agree that the success they have achieved in the garbage disposal industry has been based on one simple thing: giving veterans a chance after their service.
“After we got home from Iraq, nothing was waiting for us. We didn’t know what to do. So we decided to buy a truck and pick up trash. We had to learn the hard way and took a lot of bumps along the way. We want other veterans who are just like us to have the opportunity to wait for them when they get home. That’s why we started franchising and that’s our only mission, “said David when asked why they started GIHAUL® and why they chose a franchise.
“Our mission is simple: increase the ownership of veteran businesses, and we’ll do this by making them affordable.” Mike added. “We’re not your average franchise. Our foundation is our culture, shared by a group of like-minded veterans who not only have a strong bond with military service but also have a bottomless appetite to succeed and get better. To be part of GIHAUL®, the entire team has to give the all-clear. “
The brothers McCloskey and GIHAUL® are not slowed down or deterred by the latest pandemic. You are already in advanced talks with multiple locations and expect to open another 7-10 franchises within the next 12 months. Not bad for two brothers who just started out with a truck and some trash.
