1. Austin-based Factory Mattress opened a new store on February 2 at 12680 W. Hwy. 290, Ste. 100, dripping feathers. Factory Mattress is the first tenant to open the business project still under construction at the top of the Ledgestone community. 2. Austin-based Southside Flying Pizza will celebrate its 15th anniversary in the community in 2021. The local chain with locations in South Austin, 11600 Menchaca Road, 2206 S. 3. Dripping Springs City Council approved a parking exemption for Turcotte Butchers & Delicatessen at 100 Commons Drive, Ste. 9, dripping feathers. The variance allows the restaurant to open in downtown Dripping Springs without adding new parking spaces on the property. 4. Articulture Designs celebrated its fifth anniversary in January at 6405 Menchaca Road, Austin. The local gallery and boutique has art with plants as a medium as well as home accessories for sale and has hosted craft events in the past. 5. Dreamland Dripping Springs, an outdoor entertainment venue that includes pickleball, mini golf, and outdoor concerts, plus a beer garden and sports bar, celebrated its opening weekend on February 5th. The complex is located on 64 hectares and includes 54 holes of mini golf together with four weather-protected pickleball courts. 6. A new 90,000 square foot store is due to open in the Oak Hill area in August at 7901 W. Hwy, according to representatives from HEB. 290, Austin, at the intersection with FM 1826.
