BCFR: Inmates escaped injury and made it out of the house safely

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST COCOA, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Fire Department responded to a residential fire at 3700 Block Wood Circle in West Cocoa with support from the Cocoa Fire Department and Rockledge Fire Rescue.

The Brevard County Fire Rescue Engine 44 arrived and found a two story house with a working fire in the attic above the second floor.

Firefighters effectively attacked and quickly put down the fire.

Units on the scene included BCFR R44, Rockledge E36, Cocoa TWR32, BCFR TWR48, BCFR R46, Cocoa E31, BCFR DC45, BCFR DC40, and BCFR E44.

Brevard County Fire Department officials said all occupants escaped injury and made it out of the house safely.
