STAR, IDAHO, UNITED STATES, Jun 4, 2021 / – Parenting is not easy to explain or understand. It has to be experienced. There is an undeniable role for each parent and that is protection. Children, without realizing it when they go to school, church or play with their friends, have, if they are lucky enough, a mother or father to watch over them and some responsibility for their behavior and well-being take. As children grow up and become active citizens, this type of protection does not stop, but rather develops and transfers shared responsibility to others. And these people who watch over adults and children in their communities are called cops and first responders. Every day, it is the people we often do not see who are actively serving and protecting the wolves from attack, putting out fires or saving the life of a loved one so that they can enjoy even more moments with their families. An officer’s role, even if it cannot be fully understood, is a story worth telling. The following is the story of former Sergeant Erik Tiner of Boise, Idaho.

In 1997 Erik began his career as a police officer in California, which later ended in Boise, Idaho. During his career, he has had the opportunity to work at SWAT, Gangs, Motor Unit, DUI Enforcement and Patrol. For the last seven years of his career, he served as a sergeant in Boise.

In 2019 Erik began to feel a tingling sensation in his hands. He could feel a pinched nerve in the back of his neck that seemed to radiate to his fingertips. After engaging with other worried colleagues, he decided to have his condition checked by a doctor. The x-ray showed nothing conclusive, so he was referred for an MRI. After consulting with a neurosurgeon, he learned that a few vertebrae were acting on his spinal cord and any minor injury to his neck or head could lead to permanent paralysis.

After the operation, Erik spent the next three months in light duty at work. He sat in a booth 40 hours a week, doing his best to keep busy. This forced downtime from his regular officer duties gave him the attitude to look for other career paths. While researching on YouTube, Erik and Matt Vick came across Sonoma Strong Hauling & Junk Removal. The channel caught Erik’s attention with Matt’s rough, yet educational, personable nature and real personality. Matt and his co-star, Yo-Yo, shared insights into the garbage disposal industry and shared the idea that this avenue could be a career opportunity for Erik. He started thinking of names for his business and Full House Junk Removal was born.

Erik became an avid student of junk removal videos full of testimonials, tips, and teachings on YouTube. Other seasoned professionals showed up, such as Lee Godbold of the Junk Removal Authority and Jeff Glass of Alpha Media Group. (AMG). On his trip, Erik reached out to a befriended garbage disposal company called GI Junk Away and spoke to co-founder Josh Sperling. They talked about the business, the country, and joining a thought group of blue-collar entrepreneurs. Josh Sperling was linked to and worked with Jeff Glass. After a call with Jeff, Erik joined AMG as a client and joined a group of successful junk removal company owners.

Today, Erik Tiner is serving his community in Star, Meridian, Boise and the surrounding area in excellent health and physical condition during his retirement years. Full House Junk Removal removes hot tubs, appliances, furniture, household items, and various types of junk and recyclables.
